It begins with an intense passion ("She set my soul on fire") but quickly transitions to the pain of heartbreak ("Too late, I'm through with her, she's gone"), the vivid picture of the emotional impact of losing someone dear, likening it to a sudden storm that leaves the protagonist alone. There's a try at a resolve to move forward ("Let's face the week, and I'll be your life"), accompanied by a sense of self-assurance ("My feeling, man, I'll be this guy"), but then we find that it is a bittersweet reminiscence of the lost love. "She" by The Mighty Manfred and The Wonderdogs Lyrics: [Verse 1] She Set my soul on fire My girl All about the desire In love Everlasting love [Bridge] Too late I’m through with her She’s gone Hit me like thunder She sent me Into a quiet somber [Verse 2] Let’s face the week And I’ll be your life My feeling Man, I’ll be this guy [Verse 3] She Is like a worldy girl She’s so fun She’s from another world I praise the lord She will never leave me [Outro] Because of her I achieve tranquility Because of her I achieve tranquility Because of her I achieve tranquility Because of her I achieve tranquility
